Dr Rajesh Balkrishna is an honorary consultant Ob Gynaecologist at Ruby Hall Clinic, Pune since 1995. To add to his feathers, he is also an accomplished Gynaecological endoscopic surgeon. His clinical interests are, some specifications being, Infertility, IVF (assisted reproduction), Laparoscopy and Hysteroscopy, High Risk Pregnancy and Recurrent pregnancy loss.

Dr. Balkrishna has been a unit head since 1996 at Ruby Hall Clinic’s PG institute. As a senior Consultant, he heads a team of resident doctors and house surgeons in a busy 700 bedded hospital, performing all the routine and referred OBGYN procedures.

He has been a post graduate teacher for College of Physicians and Surgeons since 1996, and for the National Board since 2005. He was instrumental in the upgradation of the Ob Gyn department at Ruby Hall & played a key role in the establishment of the IVF center at Ruby Hall.

He established the Oosite IVF center at Pune in 2006 proving the excellence of this centre with a consistent success rate exceeding 40%. Additionally, he coordinates the IVF program at other satellite IVF centers across India. He and his team personally perform the IVF and endoscopic procedures at these centers, performing over 50 cases every month.

With his commitment to his practice and a history of stellar clinical performance, it is needless to say, he is considered an authority in fertility medicine, RPL and high-risk Obstetrics. He has been a popular speaker and is a regular at various national and international fora.
