Dr Shirish Yande, MBBS, MS, is a consultant Urologist and Director of Academics Department at the Ruby Hall Clinic since the year 2006. Dr. Yande’s specialty interests are, Minimally Invasive Kidney stone surgeries – Renal Transplant, Endourology, Reconstructive urology, Uro-oncology, Neuro- Urology, Male sexual dysfunction, Infertility – Female Urology, Advance Laparoscopic, and Robotic Surgeries. His pursuit for the science of Urodynamics and Robotic Surgery stems from his keen interest in technology, particularly electrical and mechanical engineering.

Having dedicated most of his time to in-depth study of Lower Urinary Tract Disorders in men and women, Dr. Yande is an expert in the science of Urodynamics at the national level. In his vast experience of performing over 1000 kidney transplant surgeries using both live and cadaver donors, Dr. Yande has cultivated a comprehensive expertise covering all aspects of Kidney surgery. He is driven to propel his passion for Neurourology and Urinary Incontinence by setting up specialised service for these fields, which are scarce in our country. His thirst for science and medicine is currently being quenched by mastering techniques of Robotic Surgery.

Apart from his clinical exploits, Dr. Yande is the Director of Academics and has been managing about 26 postgraduate teaching departments at the Ruby Hall Clinic. He has a world of research and articles published globally and has organized several educational and training activities in Urology at the Zonal and National levels.
