Dr. Shilpy Dolas has 13 years of experience in breast oncoplastic surgery (breast cancer and breast cosmetic surgery), with a sub-specialisation. She completed her Certified Fellowship in Breast Cancer and Diseases (FIBD) from RGUHS in early 2010, M.S. (Gen Surgery), Meerut in 2000, and pursued additional international fellowships in breast cancer, diseases, and reconstruction from Germany and IAPS from India.

She is trained in Breast Oncosurgery and Surgical Oncology from Tata Memorial Hospital Mumbai. Dr. Dolas has published 14 scientific publications in peer-reviewed international indexed journals, and is also the Principal investigator and co-investigator in several national and international trials in breast cancer.

She is also recognised as the editor-in-Chief of IMA’s journal and “Journal of Young Medical Researchers”, along with being a teacher in the Breast Fellowship Program since 2012.

Dr. Dolas is one of the 1st ladies trained for vacuum assisted biopsy in India and won the best paper award on the same in 2011.She is actively involved in spreading awareness about breast cancer by holding CMEs, talks, forums, etc.
