Medical Social Work

Ruby Hall Clinic’s Medical Social Work (MSW) Department works closely with the medical staff to provide the highest quality care to patients and their families. The MSW Department was founded in 1990 and currently employs four medical social workers.
By addressing the social, environmental, financial, and emotional needs of patients and their families, these social workers play a critical role in patient care. They help patients at every stage of their medical journey, from diagnosis and prevention to recovery.

Doctors, nurses, patients, their families, community organisations, other health care providers, and anyone else who is concerned about the patient’s well-being can refer patients to medical social workers. Social work services are offered at Ruby Hall Clinic throughout the course of patient care.
