Dr. Mane has 23 years of experience in surgery. She completed her M.S. (generic surgery) from Govt Medical College, Miraj in 1997. She is trained in breast oncosurgery from Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. She completed her secondment in breast surgery from the Interdisciplinary Breast Centre, Düsseldorf, Germany, under the European Breast Cancer Network Program. Dr. Mane is also trained in oncoplastic and reconstructive breast surgery from Royal Derby Hospital, UK. She has published 11 scientific publications in peer-reviewed international indexed journals and has made 52 oral/poster presentations in national and international conferences. 

Dr. Mane is the principal investigator and co-investigator in several national and international trials in breast cancer. She is also well known as a teacher in the Breast Fellowship Program, a 1-year course under the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences. She is actively involved in spreading awareness about breast cancer by holding CMEs, talks, forums, etc.
