Dr Dinesh Zirpe has accumulated an experience of multiple complex advanced laparoscopic & GI surgeries and more than 400 liver transplants (DDLT & LDLT). He has been awarded with the Young scholar award in GI surgery & a gold medal for being an All India Topper by Vice President of India. His areas of special interest include Living Donor Liver transplant, Cadaveric Liver Transplant, Multivisceral Transplant, surgeries for Pancreatic & Gall bladder Cancers and Advanced laparoscopy for Hepato- biliary diseases. He has done MBBS from ACPM Medical College, Dhule and has done M.S. in General Surgery from Nair Hospital & Topiwala National Medical College, Mumbai. He has undergone DNB super specialty training in Gastrointestinal Surgery at Apollo Hospital, Chennai and completed his Super Specialty degree with ample experience of Robotic, Advanced Laparoscopic GI surgeries and Liver & Multivisceral Transplantation. He has also completed International Scholars Fellowship Program in the field of Liver Transplantation and HPB surgery at Asan Medical Center, Seoul (South Korea) which is the world’s busiest liver transplant centre. A reviewer for Indexed International Journals including Case reports of American journal of gastroenterology, Dr. Zirpe is also actively involved in academics & clinical research. He is a member of many national and international associations such as IHPBA, ASI, IASG and SSAT (USA).
