Dr. Himesh Gandhi is a Director of Robotic Surgery at Ruby Hall Clinic, Pune. He is a practising Consultant Uro-oncologist, Robotic Uro-onco surgeon and Kidney transplant surgeon. His area of interests are Uro-Oncology and Robotic Surgery, minimally invasive surgery/ Endo-Urology, Laparoscopic surgeries, Renal Transplantations, Pediatric Reconstructive Surgeries. His excellent leadership made way to the inception of Robotic Kidney Transplantation for the first time in the city of Pune, at Ruby Hall Clinic. He was also a significant catalyst in the installation of Modulith FLX-2 Connect Urological work station, first time ever in India and second in the whole of Asia, a truly complete solution for urological and non-urological stone managements. Dr. Gandhi is a member of several renowned associations such as Urological Society of India, American Urological Association, European Association of Urology, etc. He has been a part of several remarkable research projects and has contributed to research papers. Having won several international awards, Dr. Himesh has also been a keen participant in international academia and fellowships. He continues to contribute and review several international and national robotic journals. Some of his notable publications are, Laparoscopic Pyelolithotomy and Efficacy of Tamsulosin versus Nifedipine in the Medical Expulsive Therapy of Distal Ureteric Stones.
