Dr. Kiran Gadre, M.D.S. (OMS), is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon (OMF), trained in
micro vascular, and Craniofacial surgery at Ruby Hall Clinic. He has been practicing Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery for last 37 years when oral and maxillofacial surgery was not even a recognized branch.
His area of interests are HFN oncology with total reconstruction and
rehabilitation, Craniomaxillofacial trauma, Orthognathic surgery and complex
implantology.
Life has come full circle for Dr. Gadre, from receiving international grants like, TC White Visiting Scholarship of The RCPS Glasgow and International Scientific Exchange Fund Scholarship of the Japan Dental Association to being invited internationally to lecture at illustrious institutes like, Prince Philip Dental Hospital, Hongkong, National University Seoul, Hamamatsu School of medicine Hamamatsu, Japan, etc.
Not only has he lectured internationally but also has been a Prof. OMF surgery at Bharati Vidyapeeth
Dental College and Hospital for 28 years, and Prof. Dentistry at Dhondumama Sathe Homeopathic Medical College for 17 years.
Among his many achievements, one of the striking awards has been Mayor’s medal from Pune Municipal Corporation in 1992 for operating on ‘The White Bengal tiger’ first of its kind then. The surgery was included as chapter in Bal Bharati sixth standard text book for more than
20 years. Not only Tigers, he has also done maxillofacial surgeries on Lions, Birds, Dogs, Deer & Wild Boar.
