Dr. Manoj Shrivastav, MBBS, DNB (general surgery), is currently heading the multi-organ transplant program at Ruby Hall group of hospital, Pune. He has completed 200 liver transplants in Pune out of which 100 transplants were accomplished in last one year. He has achieved more than 95 % survival rate and 92 % one-year survival in the same. Dr. Manoj is equipped to handle acute surgical emergencies and trauma in a variety of surgical scenarios. He is known to manage patients with multiple traumas like Abdominal, Vascular, Chest, Head injury and Gunshot injury. He has performed and assisted major liver resection mainly for hepatocellular carcinoma and cholangio carcinoma involving detailed work up, radiological study and preoperative optimization of patient (Preoperative biliary drainage, portal vein embolization). Dr. Manoj believes in the power of knowledge and is always thriving in the modern developments and training in medicine. He was recently trained in Laparoscopic procedure like laparoscopic Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy and Fundoplication, Hernia repair. His purpose is to serve society with excellent medical care and facilities and he wishes to manifest this by practicing Organ Transplantation (Liver and Kidney) and HPB Surgery.
