Dr. Holla is a certified medical physicist with more than 23 years of vast experience in teaching, treatment planning, delivery, commissioning, and quality assurance of various treatment machines, including modern linear accelerators, cyberknifes, and tomotherapy. He is energetic, result-oriented, and quick on the uptake, a versatile professional having combined clinical, professional, and management knowledge, passionately pursuing healthcare delivery. He has worked in India’s one of the premier medical institutions, such as Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi, and gained experience in frame-based and frameless radiosurgery, SBRT, and VMAT, including 4D treatment. He was instrumental in setting up one of the best medical physics courses at AIMS, Kochi. He has extensive experience in cyberknife and accelerator-based stereotactic treatments. Also skilled in designing radiation oncology, radiodiagnosis, and nuclear medicine departments; quality management programs such as NABH and ISO 14000. He is a mentor and co-guide for several Ph.D. students and keen on his academics. He has more than 50 publications and presentations as a first- or group author. He has delivered more than 40 invited talks inside and outside the country.
