Dr. Reshma Puranik is a Consultant Medical Oncologist and Haemato-oncologist at Ruby Hall Clinic, Pune. She has a vast experience and irreplaceable proficiency in managing diverse cancers like Head & Neck, Lung, Breast, Gastrointestinal, Genitourinary, sarcomas and skin cancers. Having trained at one the largest cancer centres in Asia and being a European Society Certified Medical Oncologist (ECMO), Dr. Puranik is resolute in treating malignancies in females like breast and cervix cancer and wishes to work on cancer awareness, early diagnosis and prevention of cancer in females. She also has an expertise in managing hematological malignancies like leukemias, lymphomas and multiple myeloma and is specifically inclined towards screening and preventive oncology.

Not only is Dr. Reshma involved daily in diagnosing, counselling and treatment planning for cancer patients in the various hospitals but she is also on editorial board of South Asian Journal of Cancer and has presented various papers in regional and national conferences. She has a penchant for Dr. Reshma’s unrelented drive to spread cancer awareness ranges from corporate office lectures to rural areas like Melghat, even by organizing CME for general practitioners to further their cancer education.

Awarded, Woman Warrior Award in 2022, Dr. Reshma strives for primary prevention and early detection of cancer and her intention truly reflects in the work that she carries through organization of Mammogram camps for breast cancer screening and PAP smear camps for cervical cancer screening. She is associated with several notable institutes and NGOs to build awareness among young girls for menstrual health, sexual education and cervical cancer vaccination and awareness.
